Original Content

This page showcases content that I have created as a one-man band during my career.

From producing to editing, these skills have allowed me to thrive with the Coastal Athletic Association.

CAA Team of the Week

A consistent presence in my content plan since taking this position has been the Team of the Week series.

It has been mutually beneficial from the conference perspective to highlight as many of our members as possible while also giving our schools a larger audience to celebrate their accomplishments.

Instead of just focusing on the dominant programs, I always mix up the teams by finding interesting storylines so the content can always have a fresh feel.

CAA Postseason Awards

It is always an honor to commemorate each sports regular season by highlighting the top athletes from around the CAA.

These videos are incredibly difficult to make due to the short turnaround time after coaches vote on the winners, and coordinating video requests with each school in less than 24 hours.

However, it is incredibly satisfying to see the finished product and play a role in the announcement of our All-CAA selections and major award winners.

CAA Championship Recaps

One of the reasons why I accepted the position with the CAA was the ability to travel for our championships.

Being able to connect with our athletes and coaches in person is extremely valuable after covering them all season long. It's incredibly rewarding how thankful they are for the level of attention that they previously didn't receive before my tenure began.

This recap of the 2025 CAA Field Hockey Championship saw Drexel return to the NCAA tournament after defeating top-seeded Monmouth.

CAA Top Plays

SportsCenter has always been my favorite show, so why not roll the highlight reel in my own version of Top 10!?

Our athletes continue to do incredible things and have wound up on ESPN multiple times. It has been cool to see these clips get initial traction for our CAA social media pages and then reach even a higher level of attention due to SportsCenter's national audience.

2 Minute Drill Recaps

Before football season began, I thought it would be important to continue rolling out short, fast-moving content for our audience.

That resulted in the idea to create "2-Minute Drill" recaps that summarized every CAA Football game in 180 seconds or less. This series became a fun challenge that I looked forward to because I constantly thought of what I would want to know as a consumer.

Ultimately, I believe it has made me better at writing my scripts, focusing on the information that is most important.

CAA Football Countdown To Kickoff Series

In preparation for the 2025 College Football season, I wanted to revamp our coverage from the conference perspective.

I had the idea to preview the upcoming year for each of our 14 programs. With so much turnover in FCS rosters, I believed it was important for fans to have a better understanding of what to expect from around the league in just a few minutes.

Here my episode about North Carolina A&T, as the Aggies look to return as one of the top HBCU programs in the nation under new Head Coach Shawn Gibbs.

CAA Preseason Poll & Awards

When I started with the CAA in March, I missed the start of spring sports. However, I made it a priority to create additional video content when postseason awards were released for each sport.

Once our fall sports were set to begin, I wanted to follow the same formula for our Preseason Poll & Awards announcement.

This Women's Soccer video provided additional context about the league's new divisional format as well as the rest of the preseason awards.

CAA Year in Review

Towards the end of the 2024-25 season, I was tasked with creating a Year in Review video that would be shown at the ADs meeting.

This project was certainly a challenge, as there was no video for certain sports earlier in the year, before my arrival. Thankfully, I was able to get content from our member schools, and it was a fun way to improve my editing skills!

Other Original Content

Exclusive Kyle McCord Sit-Down Interview

For my final class at Syracuse, I wanted to be creative in our sportscast and orchestrate a studio interview. Who else better to do it with than the new starting quarterback!?

With the help of my classmate and Syracuse Linebacker Derek McDonald, we were able to get Kyle McCord to do his first sit-down interview since coming to Syracuse.

I was able to cover topics like his transition from Ohio State to Central New York, the team's progress in the offseason, his EA College Football rating, and much more!

The Griffin Report Podcast

I started the "Griffin Report Podcast," where I orchestrated sit-down or Zoom interviews with Canisius athletes, coaches, and alumni.

In this episode, I spoke with legendary coach John Beilein about how his career began, his favorite memories coaching the Griffs in the early '90s, and how Canisius was pivotal to his success with the Michigan Wolverines.

Around Canisius Athletics

In an increased effort to highlight all of the programs on campus, I created a weekly series called "Around Canisius Athletics," that provides Canisius fans everything that need to know about their favorite teams.

Through analytics I realized this "snackable" content on social has been more efficient in reaching a larger audience compared to written articles on the website.

This episode recapped and previewed both basketball programs and the hockey team.

Canisius Season Previews

One of my favorite parts about working in the Canisius Athletic Department was promoting the student-athletes and the 20 NCAA Division 1 program they represent.

I did a Season Preview with each program, conducting interviews with a head coach and impact player about their thoughts on the upcoming campaign.

Listen to Matt Mazurek and 2x All-American Max Grant about their outlook on the 2023 season as they try to win their second straight MAAC Baseball title.

Mock Buffalo Sabres Practice Report

Towards the end of my internship with Pegula Sports & Entertainment, I had the opportunity to create packages following games and practices.

For one of my Sabres Practice Reports, I focused on Tage Thompson's breakout 2021-22 season. It includes an on-camera standup, followed by answers from Tage Thompson and Head Coach Don Granato. â€‹â€‹â€‹
