Sideline Reporter Reel (2024-25)
After recovering from my back surgery, I was fortunate to be hired for multiple freelance roles as a sideline reporter.

I continued my work with the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in Atlantic City for its Basketball Championships. I remained in my position with the Rochester Americans and Knighthawks throughout their seasons.

In this reel, I looked to showcase my personality and ability to ask insightful questions!
Rochester Americans Rinkside Reporter Reel (2024-25)
When looking back at my second full season with the Amerks, I saw continuous growth as the year went on.
My role in the broadcast grew during the game for more drop-ins about what I was seeing. There was a better quality of answers in my interviews compared to year one, because of the comfort level the players had with me.

A moment I will never forget about this season was getting to interview my childhood hero, Ryan Miller, prior to his induction into the Amerks Hall of Fame!

Basketball Radio PxP Sample (2024-25)
During conference play of the 2024-25 College Basketball season, I took over as the radio voice for the Canisius Men's Basketball team.

I was excited for this challenge because all of my experience in the industry up to that point was on TV. Each game, I grew confidence in my ability to paint listeners a better picture of the action on the court.

This sample was from the Griffs' regular-season finale on the road against the reigning MAAC champion, Saint Peter's Peacocks.

Multimedia/Digital Reporter Reel (2024-25)
With a few months under my belt at the CAA, I put together a sizzle reel of some of the new social content that I created for the conference.

There was great engagement on my "Griff's Picks" Team of the Week and Top Plays segment, which was a big hit with our schools. This reel also includes standup/recaps with the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference during its Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament in Atlantic City, NJ.
Baseball PxP Sample (2024-25)
While my main priority during CAA Championships is to create social content from the event, I still have heavy involvement in our broadcast productions.

I was very excited to do some play-by-play during our Baseball Championship down in Charleston, South Carolina, throughout the week.

Here is a snippet of my first call of the tournament in an elimination game between Elon and William & Mary.

Basketball PxP Sample (2024-25)
This sequence was from the home opener for the Canisius Golden Griffins hosting Little 3 Rival St. Bonaventure on Saturday, November 9th, 2024.
A rivalry game between the Bonnies and Griffs always has added excitement, but it meant even more to me as it was my first broadcast back following my spinal tumor surgery nearly a month prior.
It also marked two years since my first-ever NCAA MBB broadcast on ESPN between the same two programs during my senior year at Canisius.
Sports Anchor/MMJ Reel (September 2024)
An area where I didn't have any experience prior to coming to Syracuse was making packages like a local TV reporter.

During my final semester in Cuse, I got daily repetitions to boost my storytelling abilities as a Sports MMJ and calling highlights in the studio.

My internship with WPRI-TV allowed me to create packages daily throughout New England Patriots training camp, resulting in better efficiency and creativity.
Syracuse/ACC Network Play-By-Play Reel (2023-24)
During my time at Syracuse, I called over 45 games across seven different sports. Having the opportunity to have my voice paired with historic moments like Dyaisha Fair scoring her 3,00th point or passing Brittney Griner on the NCAA all-time scorers is something I will never forget.

Doing additional broadcasts at Colgate and Canisius provided more opportunities to improve in sports like lacrosse.

Syracuse/ACC Network Studio Host Reel (2023-24)
Due to my involvement with Syracuse Athletics and our ACC Network productions, I was awarded plenty of opportunities to be a studio host.

Having the reins for pregame, halftime, and postgame shows was an honor that I didn't take lightly. With hosting being the area in the industry that I would like to be in long-term, my time at the desk was my favorite part about being at Syracuse.
2023 STAA Jim Nantz Award Submission

The Jim Nantz Award is presented annually by the STAA to the nation's top undergraduate student sportscaster. My submission is the first ever to come from a Canisius College student in the history of the prestigious honor.

It has been my main priority throughout my senior year to showcase my talents on the biggest stage. I am fortunate to have been selected for the honorable mention list for the award.
It is extremely validating to help promote Canisius and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference on the national stage, but I am hungry to continue my development because I know that I'm just scratching the surface!
