The GDP Podcast Episode 1: My Story
From a near five-year hiatus, The GDP Podcast makes its return. Episode 1 explains what to expect in the series by telling my story in the sports broadcast industry thus far.
Coming off the most difficult year of my life, I believe it's important to be transparent about those experiences because maybe it helps another person (or even yourself).
Athletes, coaches, broadcasters, and others in the sports realm all have a unique path. It's my job to help provide context on how they battled adversity to get to their level of success!
CAA Fast Break
After seeing success with the CAA Insider since joining the staff, we decided to begin a new show called "CAA Fast Break" ahead of the 2025-26 Men's College Basketball season.

In an attempt to stand out at the mid-major level, I thought it would make sense to have a weekly conversation that can be cut up into social clips to promote the league from within, instead of relying on regional/national coverage.

Here is the first episode with former La Salle Head Coach, John Giannini, that focuses on the league's success during non-conference play.
The GDP Podcast Episode 2: Sean McDonough
The first-ever guest on the GDP Podcast is one of the most versatile play-by-play broadcasters of all time, Sean McDonough. The lead voice for the NHL on ESPN and College Football on ABC has done it all in his illustrious career. I've been lucky enough to have him be a mentor of mine during my short time in the industry!
Just a few years after graduating from Syracuse University, McDonough began broadcasting games for the Boston Red Sox at the age of 25. His career then flourished on a national level for CBS, becoming the youngest person to ever call a World Series game.

Listen to learn more about McDonough's incredible perspective on his longevity at ESPN, how he's dealt with adversity throughout his career, and much more!
CAA Insider Series
My first piece of content when I started with the CAA was beginning the Insider Series. This interview/podcast-type format was a great way for me to immediately make relationships with our athletes and coaches.
I quickly saw the benefit of having a short interview that could be broken up on social media to collaborate with the respective athletic department for maximum engagement.

Here is a conversation with Northeastern Baseball's Cam Maldonado before the MLB Draft that generated thousands of views on social media!

CAA Insider Series (Alumni Edition)
With the summer being a slow time for content in college athletics, I was brainstorming creative ways we could collaborate with our schools.

Building off the CAA Insider series, I began interviewing prominent alumni from our member institutions about how their college experience led to success in life.

In my first episode, I spoke with Rick Mahorn, who played at Hampton before carving out an 18-year NBA career. This has been one of the most rewarding parts of my position thus far!
